The Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill (and Cary) area of North Carolina is home to a number of institutions dedicated to the pursuit of higher learning. The many colleges and universities of this area attract thousands of students from all over the state, not to mention other states in the USA and foreign countries all over the world.

Interestingly enough, these college campuses also have their fair share of interesting and unusual road signs, designed to make getting around a little easier and to provide for a safer campus environment. This section is dedicated to the unique signage found within and around the bounds of academia here in the Triangle.
